Anyone know about what they use for WIN and how to get it. I dumped PP after the latest fiasco and they wanted me to once again jump
through hoops to feed data I was asked to volunteer to feed (I feed a MLAT hole they had).
I like feeding to FA though. (Not Flight Radar 24)

Re: VRS and Dump 1090
Not sure if what I did is kosher. But until I figure out how to disable the HTTP feed This worked. --net-http-port 8081 Sending it to 8081 let everything connect. Now running Dump1090 in Beast mode on 30005 and getting squawk feeds. Will let it just run like this for now :). Baby steps. When I figur...

Re: VRS and Dump 1090
this is frustrating. RTL1090 and Dump1090 see lots more A/C. However I can only get FR24 to
connect to VRS.
EDIT:
Tried RTL1090 and it does the same. So Im not sure why it only works on FR24.
Ill try deleting the receiver totally and trying again.

Re: VRS and Dump 1090
All I get is an error that says
A connection cannot be made with these settings. No connection could be made because the target actively refused it. 127.0.0.1:30002
Also does it on 30001 and 30005

Re: VRS and Dump 1090
Hmm
Me thinks I still have lots to learn.
BTW, I got plane plotter working with RTL1090. I see lots farther with it than FR24. So I would love to get Dump1090 running.
Need to figure out what Dump 1090 is doing and how to turn it off.

Re: VRS and Dump 1090
Here is a log dump (EDIT by agw - I've truncated this a bit, the original posting was the entire log, it was huge) [2014-07-06 15:18:14.959 UTC] [t1] Disconnected from KPAE-8 [2014-07-06 15:18:14.965 UTC] [t1] Connecting to KPAE-8 [2014-07-06 15:18:14.972 UTC] [t7] Connected to KPAE-8 [2014-07-06 15...

VRS and Dump 1090
Cannot seem to get the server running off DUMP 1090. When opening the URL I get Error opening HTML file: No such file or directory Everything seems to be ok, Great info on the dump1090 screen. However doing http://127.0.0.1:30003/ I see no Squawk data with Dump1090 (or FR24). Connecting to the beast...

Korean Air Lines Co. 8245
Not sure how to do a route change input on this one.
If you look at the Flight Aware routing it goes all over.
