The port your viewing looks wrong to me..
try

192.168.1.4:8081/VirtualRadar/

so thats port 8081 and a capital V and R

edit..
or the above withOUT capital V and R .. it depends if server is on linux or not .... i think

Some aircraft do not transmit the information regarding position and speed so these will not "appear" on the map, they will show up in the list though. (flybee dash aircraft are a good example here in the uk) If you have a network of servers setup then you can deduce the position using Triangulation...
