I have found that IF I open VRS and follow the settings protocol while Firefox is in a Private Window everything works!!
I'm not sure what's happening BUT there is a work around.

Firefox will not do Settings
I have recently run into a problem with updating the settings of VRS using Firefox. Following the Documentation on this site when I reach the Export Settings button it does not copy the current setup. After trying a myriad of alternatives (including Firefox in Safe Mode) and thinking that I was losi...

Re: Controlling the Marker Clusterer
Thanks for adding the Tab for setting the cluster level in the latest (May 22/16) Preview. It works perfectly!

Re: Controlling the Marker Clusterer
Thanks Andrew. I set VRS.globalOptions.aircraftMarkerClustererEnabled to false. I assumed that turned off the clusters and, of course, clusters don't have trails. I'll try extending the MaxZoom instead and see how it goes. EDIT: I added VRS.globalOptions.aircraftMarkerTrailsMaxZoom and reset both Ma...

Re: Controlling the Marker Clusterer
Thanks "kappy1".
That has solved the problem. However, it looks like I have the aircraft back at the 50 km scale BUT I've lost the aircraft tails. Now the tails are gone at 50 km and up. All is well at 20 km and below.
I think I'll call it a night!

Re: Controlling the Marker Clusterer
Thanks for this info Andrew. I have written the Plug-in BUT when I go to Tools|Plugin the only option I have is to work with a database file. The screenshots therefore do not match my screen. Obviously I'm missing something ... and I am unable to inject the script. Excuse this but these scripts / pl...

Aircraft "disappear" as map scale changes
I have loaded the latest (May 12/16) preview version of VRS. I'm running VRS on a Linux machine. The Firefox problem has been resolved, however, I have encountered a new "problem" At map scales of 20 km or less all is normal. Aircraft positions and defined tails appear on-screen as normal. However, ...

Re: Loss of On-screen Menu?
Andrew just got back to me.
Apparently this is a Firefox problem. He's working on a fix and it should be on the Preview site soon (after May 10, 2016).

Thanks to Andrew for the quick reply and update.

Loss of On-screen Menu?
I am having a minor issue with Virtual Radar (Version 2.3.1.24483) running under Linux. My OS is Linux Mint Debian Cinnamon 32-bit. I have been running VRS for quite a while and today I noticed a problem. The map, aircraft and tabular data are ALL correct. On-screen there are 2 icons, Map etc and Me...
