Enabling OpenAIP layers
I wanted to add a weather overlay and found references to nitro999's work here on the forum but the link to the Github project is dead and it looks like he has removed/deleted it. I did a search on GitHub and found a project by WiganPI which seems to do the same thing. I quickly got the weather over...

Flag and Silhouette Troubles with Safari on Catalina
I got a new computer last year replacing the one I used to use for VRS and I am running macOS Catalina on the new one. I just had time to revive VRS on my new Mac. It all went very smoothly except for the fact almost no silhouette/aircraft icons show up on the map. That is unless I turn on "Show Alt...

WebAdmin page is empty
I have successfully be running the "Linux" version on MacOS for quite awhile and other than the random mono crashes it works well. I wanted to move it to an Ubuntu server instead. I've run through the Linux install procedures a few times without success. I can bring up the main page [url]ttp://127.0...

Re: VRS Website Set Up - Help!
Your RPI3 is using port 8088 per the LAN IP address. Normally you would open port 8088 on the router and direct that to the RPI3. If you opened port 80 on your router you would need to instruct it to forward to port 8088 on your internal network.

Aircraft missing from map in VRS, but not dump1090
In VRS these two planes (E3 and T-38) are not shown on the map. http://i.imgur.com/HsRr0Vf.png However in dump1090 both planes are shown on the map. VRS is being fed by this dump1090 running on a Pi 3 so I don't get why there is a difference. Note that the E3 was displayed on the VRS map for awhile,...

gdb attaching problem
I'm posting this in the Linux forum as it is the closest match I could find. But note I am running this on MacOS. Periodically VRS crashes due to the cairo-hash problem which by itself is no big deal. But when this happens it tries to start and attach gdb. On my Mac, when this happens, it pops up a ...

Re: Diffrent background color for miliary in aircraft list?
I think I'd like this as well. But I'm new to VRS and am not sure how/where to install/enable this script.
Thanks.
Thanks.

That cairo_hash_table_lookup_exact_key issue...
I see a couple of posts from last year on this issue, including https://forum.virtualradarserver.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1192&p=5906&hilit=cairo_hash_table_lookup_exact_key#p5906 . I recently installed the latest VRS and mono (on Mac OS X Sierra) and have seen this crash twice. On the threads I fo...
