Custom window layout? (Or, request for another layout)

Is there a way to create a custom window layout?

I'm really wanting:

Top: List (the full width)
Bottom-Left: Map
Bottom-Right: Detail

This is mainly because I like lots of columns in my list, and sometimes I don't want to expand my browser window too wide.

Thanks!

Re: Keeping VRS online 24/7

Ok, I added the ability for this to just get run from cron, perhaps every 5 minutes, and it will exit silently if it's already running. You'd want to add a line like this to whatever user's crontab you run this as (run 'crontab -e' as that user): */5 * * * * /home/adsb/cron/run_vrs.sh I tried to mak...

Re: ICAO not matching tail number (registration)

I was under the impression that at least the US-assigned ICAO addresses (A00001 - ADF669) are uniquely (mathematically) mapped to N1 - N999ZZ. Is this not correct? airframes.org shows N80243 for ICAO AAEC4B. The FAA registry for "N917A" shows (https://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry/NNum_Results.as...

Range Plots -- "age out" old range data?

I have no idea how you're storing the range plot data, so this may not be feasible, but if there were a way to have it automatically make the range plots based on a "rolling window" of N days (3? 7? 14?), that would be a nice feature :) I suppose this would entail storing considerably more data poin...

Re: Assign receivers to users

+1 on this idea! Would be nice if users could either be "not logged in" and get a consolidated feed view, with perhaps access to only specifically-tagged "public" Receivers... and if they do log in (would need an easily-accessible "login" screen), then they can have additional Receivers (their own, ...

ICAO not matching tail number (registration)

Hello, I'm feeding a VRS instance I set up, from a few different rpi's running dump1090, and I noticed something weird this evening. VRS is attributing a different (incorrect?) tail number to an aircraft w/ ICAO "AAEC4B". The tail should be "N80243", and that's what my piaware host says.... but VRS ...

Re: Keeping VRS online 24/7

Hey all, I run VRS from this little script I made -- it's moderately-robust, but if you have a really weird setup, it might not work for you. You can just call this something like "run_vrs.sh", and then invoke it as: ./run_vrs.sh & Here's the script. Make sure you edit "VRSPATH", "LOG" and "MONOBIN"...
