Re: Map range circles

It's because the earth is a sphere and Google Maps is showing you a 2D rectangle, so the sphere needs to be projected onto the rectangle. You can read up on the specific projection they're using here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_Mercator If you follow the links on there through to the discussi...

Re: Menu Button when in full Screen mode is not working.

Any new buttons appearing out of nowhere will be Google rather than VRS. At the moment I'm not seeing a fullscreen button on the map under Chrome on W10, but it might be that they're rolling it out and you got it first. Once I can see it I'll fix it. I can see there is a slight difference with the n...

Re: Merged feed - yesterdays flights?

If you're running the database plugin then you need change its options and tell it to record the merged feed. At the moment it's probably only recording one of the feeds that's being merged.

Re: (Preview) WebAdmin doesn't work properly

It looks like there's an unterminated string in the German translation of the web admin strings file. What happens if you uninstall the language pack, do you still get the problem?

Re: RebroadCast from Raspberry not working !

You're pushing the feed to port 80 on the remote machine. Port 80 is the default HTTP port, it's the port that web browsers default to if you don't specify a port when entering an address. The push receiver at the remote side will have specified a port that it'll listen to, you will need to use that...

Re: How to...?

Along with removing the tick from "Auto-select aircraft" did you also set "When aircraft go out of range" to "Do nothing"?

By default when aircraft go out of range it re-enables auto-select.

Re: "Put onto Internet" not working

You probably have two network interfaces and VRS is just showing one at random(ish). However it binds to all network interfaces, so it should be fine. However, it's likely that the UPnP stuff will only attempt to set up a single port forwarding rule with the router and that rule will most likely be ...

Re: Run 2 instances of VRS - Pulling my hair out! HOW TO??

The post you've linked to is the correct way to do it. Create a copy of the configuration folder, edit the InstallerConfiguration.xml file in the copy to tell VRS to listen on a different port and then run your two instances. You should run VRS normally to get the first instance fired up and then ru...
