Re: How to quit VRS safely? (clean shutdown)

VRS will shut down cleanly when you send it a SIGINT (e.g. kill -INT <PID> where <PID> is the process ID you squirreled away when you started the process).

Re: FR24 & FA radar boxes

VRS supports all of the Beast formats as documented here:

http://wiki.modesbeast.com/Mode-S_Beast ... ut_Formats

VRS strips off the timestamp if the format has it.

Re: How to...?

I can't reproduce the original issue - if I turn auto-select off and set "When aircraft go out of range" to "Do nothing" then when the selected aircraft goes out of range it does not auto-select another aircraft. Once the aircraft drops off the aircraft list I have nothing selected. Regarding the se...

Re: Multiple Receivers on different IP addresses

You could also just add a merged feed in Tools | Options and tick off all of the receivers that you want to merge together into a single map. Then make the merged feed the default web site receiver in Tools | Options | Receivers.

Re: xRange from Airnav

I did, yes. I think phpBB shows them in the outbox until they're read.

I've added support for Airnav xRange, it'll appear in the next preview. Thanks to both you and UA4WIY for the sample feeds :)

Re: Custom Flags and silhouettes

I'm afraid that there are two sets of renderers - one for the live aircraft pages and one for the report pages. The ones for the reports are in reportRenderer.js, they're basically the same as the live aircraft ones except they don't have to care about whether values have changed. They just have to ...

Re: Initial setup

The installer is only available on Windows - under Linux you need to unpack the archive manually. Do you have your heart set on running it on the Mac? You could just install it on your Dell as long as it's running XP SP2 or better. Otherwise the steps to get it running on the Mac are: 1. Install Mon...

Re: Change List Background Color

You can change CSS styles with the custom content plugin. E.G.: <style type="text/css"> .vrsAircraftList { background-color: #c0c0c0; } .vrsAircraftList .vrsOdd { background-color: #a0a0a0; } .vrsAircraftList .vrsEven { background-color: #c0c0c0; } .vrsAircraftList td.fixedWidth { background-color: ...

Re: Feed Filter Error

VirtualRadar.tar.gz is the mono version but the screenshot shows the Windows version. You need to download and run the preview installer for the Windows version of Virtual Radar Server along with the preview version of the feed filter plugin.
