Re: Unhandled Exception Caught (2.4.2, 3.0.0)

If you open up Windows Explorer and go to:

%localappdata%\VirtualRadar

Then do you have a file there called TileServerSettings-Downloaded.json that's roughly 9KB in size?

Likewise do you have a TileServerSettings-Custom.json file? If so then what's in the -Custom.json file?

Re: Map Brightness

Most of the OSM maps are set to about 70% brightness because otherwise they can be a bit too bright for the altitude & speed trails. At the moment it is not configurable, that might change in the future. ADSBExchange are using the Google Maps provider. That provider adds a dim custom map type for us...

Re: settings.html

I don't think there are any Dutch strings, I think those are there for someone who volunteered to provide Dutch translations but hasn't supplied them yet.

Change the site language to English and try again.

Re: Map - Receiver Range

Receiver range is referring to the polar plot that VRS can show for a receiver if you supply it with the receiver location. See "Receiver Range Plots" here:

Re: settings.html

If you press F12 and have a look at the JavaScript Console tab is it showing any errors?

Also if you have the custom content plugin installed then temporarily disable it. If the page shows when the plugin is disabled then your custom content doesn't work with the settings page.

Re: Help with getting a custom content plugin to work on Leaflet

It should work with Leaflet, the guy did everything right. However, he ran afoul of a couple of differences between the Leaflet version of the map plugin and the Google Maps version. I've hopefully sent a pull request to him for it, if it gets merged in then it should get it working for both.

Re: Number of tracking aircraft vs aircraft seen

As it happens I've been building up a FAQ page on the Reddit wiki ( https://old.reddit.com/r/virtualradarserver/wiki/faq ). I'll add this question to it because it does get asked quite a bit. The list says it is tracking X aircraft but not all of them are shown on the map. Why? All of the aircraft s...

Re: Aircraft not deselecting (2.4.2)

The default behaviour when you have an info window open is to move the map to keep the info window visible.
