Re: VRS connecting to piaware mlat-client causes SYN flooding

Update, on a whim I disabled the windows 7 firewall, and voila it works, which is strange it VRS is in the accept list. I've created 2 rules for the MLAT port (31003 in my case) one for TCP and one for UDP and that seemed to have done the trick. Thing that remains in the SYN Flood if I remove the pu...

Re: VRS connecting to piaware mlat-client causes SYN flooding

to bypass the SYN flooding issue i tried making it a push server: sudo piaware-config mlat-results-format "beast,connect,server:31003" It says connected but no data (messages or tracked aircraft) Before you ask, yes i'm receiving stuff: 02/20/2017 17:40:59 mlat-client(748): Receiver status: connecte...

VRS connecting to piaware mlat-client causes SYN flooding

Hi, I'm running piaware on a Pi3 with an airspy feeding it, I use VRS to connect back to the mlat-client to get back MLAT positions, however even when the connection status is connected in VRS i'm getting no data back, on checking on the Pi3 I noticed this: [ 431.885108] TCP: request_sock_TCP: Possi...

Re: Merged feeds - display which receiver sees which aircraf

As far as I can tell, VRS lists the first receiver to pick up the a/c and continues to list that receiver until it loses contact - it will then list a different receiver if another one still has contact .... That's pretty much exactly how it works :) Once a receiver gets a message for an aircraft i...

Re: Bugs in 2.1.0

Hi,

I'm running a preview version of the 27th, and all MIL aircraft are being reported as Civil ??

EDIT:

Figured it out, something went wrong on the data download, re downloaded and now the reports are ok again.

Suppress ICAO 000000

I saw this:
http://tracker.virtualradarserver.co.uk ... ue/VRS-160

However, could you please make this a toggle option in the settings ? I like the track aircraft which broadcast these.
these tend to be SIGINT aircraft in my area

Thanks

Are you still using your proxy ? or is this with just using VRS ?

Re: Shared Feeds

Just set your firewall to only allowed connections from known/authorized IP's
works fine on this side to keep leechers away.

And keep an eye on
