Re: PlaneAlerter 2.0

Thanks! During the American Presidential Campaign from a couple of months ago... I set up (thanks to you) what I called a "Trump Tracker"...when his B757 (N757AF)...flew by. Anyway, Trump stopped by once during the campaign - at our Eagle County, Colorado Airport (KEGE) I track the traffic in and ou...

VRS Missing ADS-B Data? Not Sure

:? ...I'm not 100% sure... Why my current release VRS (missing data?) that is being reported by Plane Plotter - running on same Win-8.1 (64-bit) PC? I recently changed my single RTL1090 ADS-B receiver over to using "Dump1090". Am also running "ModeSmixer2" recommended by SonicGoose. Hence current re...

Re: VRS Transponder - Report

AGW: Regarding your question, the reason why aircraft that carry ADSB transmit altitude and squawk in other Mode S packets as well as in ADSB packets is because not every airport and ground radar station can decode ADSB. ADSB wasn't there right from the start of ModeS, it came along later. SkierInAv...

VRS Transponder - Report

VRS Transponder - Report? What is VRS tell us - when it reports the 'transponder type'? My VRS setup only uses a single 1090 USB dongle - so I can (only see) aircraft transmitting on 1090Mhz... Display/Reports field on the main VRS web page (Transponder, Silhouette, Flag, Callsign, Speed...etc...etc...

Saving Settings in Chrome

Google's Chrome Browser works great when connecting to my VR Server on my Network. I have a Windows 7 PC Running Chrome. I've customized the "view" my Chrome browser uses...and (yippie) Chrome "saves those display settings" when closing out of Chrome and opening the same Chrome Browser later. Q.) Do...

Re: VRS - Audio Port? TCP ???

Thanks Jon! That answers my question. Audio must also stream using TCP Port 81....as well as the web site! Not sure how to (increase?) the level of the Audio....at the VRS Server...Client Browser can adjust Audio levels of their speakers... I guess... Thanks again for testing and responding. Finally...

Re: VRS - Audio Port? TCP ???

Yes. Yes, that is why I can hear the VRS Audio when on the same local LAN. As stated - the technical issue seems to be pulling the Audio through my Internet Firewall. VRS web server (TCP Port 81) - Web Site works fine through the Firewall. It's the Audio that seems to have issues...(Yes, Chrome and ...
