Re: Could not load Google Maps within 5000ms.

Thanks for that - it worked.
Have a good holiday season and thanks for all the hard work and support over the last year.

Re: Could not load Google Maps within 5000ms.

Yes, looking at the documentation I thought that should work but I am probably doing something wrong - It's the first time I've tried using the custom content plugin. I have cut it down to a minimum so I have <script type="text/javascript"> if(VRS && VRS.globalDispatch && VRS.serverConfig) { VRS.glo...

Re: AM/AMX Mix-up

I suspect the confusion is because AM is the valid IATA code for AeroMexico and AMX the valid ICAO code. AM227 and AMX227 are equivalent codes for the same route. VRS is able to match against both IATA and ICAO route codes, hence thinks your RFDS AM227 is the AeroMexico route.

Re: Could not load Google Maps within 5000ms.

Thanks Andrew I remembered about the offline option after I had posted the question but I was hoping there was a global option I could set. I tried setting VRS.globalOptions.scriptManagerTimeout = 5000 in the hope that would cut the timeout back down to 5 secs but it didn't seem to make any differen...

Re: Could not load Google Maps within 5000ms.

Hi Andrew

Is this any way to configure/customise the time out period?

I often use VRS offline to view reports without being connected to the net - having to wait 30000ms for the load to time out is a bit of pain.

Re: Newbie question about routes

VRS should automatically update its routes database when you run it connected to the internet. You can force it download data using the "Download Data..." command on the "Tools" menu of the server component. I think the database only updated/published once a day and even then there may not be any ne...

Re: Acars And Routes

There is a web page on this site that you can use to submit new routes or changes to existing routes. The page can be found at http://sdm.virtualradarserver.co.uk/ You will need to set up a separate account on that page for some reason (Andrew can probably explain why the sdm and forum pages need se...

Re: Ground vehicle "Species"

As far as I can tell the species and mapping to aircraft type is held in the "Standing Data" database. This is an "internal" database VRS to hold codes and look-up data for routes, aircraft types, operators etc. There are currently 7 'species' listed (well 8 if you count "none") in the species table...

EVE - Change of Operator

Can you please update the operator code EVE.

Air Evex has ceased operations.

The ICAO code EVE is now used by Evelop Airlines (IATA E9). Evelop is the new name for Orbest (ICAO OBS; IATA 6O), so maybe those codes need deprecating. The Orbest fleet is being transferred to Evelop.

Thanks
