Re: mlat-server by mutability

is mlat-server responsible for delivering ADSB derived positions to all clients connected? if not, what solutions are being used for that? My understanding is that mlat-server and mlat-client may use ADSB positions to judge the range/position of non-broadcasting aircraft, so it does compare them to...

Re: How does the connection between VRS and dump100 work?

Hi, If your server has a fixed IP or DynDNS, and you can open ports in your own firewall, that is enough. You just need to turn around the direction of the data. On the clients (Rpis), install xdeco modeSmixer2, it will attach to dump1090 on localhost, and initiate a TCP client connection to your VR...

Re: Database Writer Options..?!!??

You can either have it write details for new / missing aircraft or you can overwrite aircraft that have details which were last updated more than 28 days ago. How is the 28 days determined? Using the "LastModified" in the Aircraft Table or something else? I'm trying to figure out what field I need ...

Re: MLAT data handling improvements

Bump. Comment? Yes, but only in the output from mlat-client and fa-mlat-client. I have changed them to beast format and it works well, mlat is identified. BUT, the problem is in the main feed from mlat-server. There is no way to change to anything else than basestation format. So, the problem remain...

Re: Data to correct: wrong info displayed

In t...

Re: Flag behaviour?

What about linking custom Op Flags to ICAO-hex instead of a Reg ? Would that work? There would be no risk of mix-up with operator codes, and still provide the same functionality ?

Re: MLAT data handling improvements

Hi, Mutability can mark BaseStation format messages as being generated by MLAT but you need to set the option to use his extended BaseStation format rather than the generic flavour. I don't know how you would do that with the Piaware. Yes, but only in the output from mlat-client and fa-mlat-client. ...
