Hi Ben

Yes thats right. Each feeder needs a different port number. They set up a rebroadcast feed to you (if they are running VRS) or use modesmixer2 (if running a Pi) to push the feed to you on the port you specify. Thats how Ive got my VRS and remote Pis set up and it works well.

Yes definitely possible - for example if you installed ModeSMixer or VRS onto the Pis in the remote locations, and then set them up to forward data to the central server (using ModeSMixer or by setting up a Rebroadcast server in VRS on the remote Pis, and then configuring the firewall at the receivi...

Sounds like you might have a firewall running on the computer that has VRS installed on it (e.g. Windows Firewall)? You would need to configure the firewall to allow access to port 8080 in order to view VRS from another computer/iPad on the same network.
