Custom receiver specific timeouts

It would be nice to be able to set the timeout length manually for different receivers. I have recently been experimenting with adding AIS into VRS but I have a problem where I need longer timeouts but don't want to interfere with the timeouts on my ADS-B receiver. I am currently using the JAERO opt...

Thanks - I've got it working now:

Re: Basestation data getting removed/overwritten

and remove the tick from "Overwrite details on existing aircraft" then it won't overwrite your edits every 28 days.
Thanks - must have missed that option

SVG labels don't show all text

I am running the preview version of VRS and I am using the SVG graphics. I have the aircraft label line settings to show the callsign, receiver and flight level of the aircraft. Some of the receiver text is cut off the labels as shown in the picture below. This also happens with aircrafts with long ...

Basestation data getting removed/overwritten

I run the preview version of VRS (2.4.041476) with the database writer and database editor plugins. Sometimes, I add data to the database via the database editor plugin to aircrafts that have already been looked up via the database writer plugin (usually correcting the operator flag field to match w...

Re: The negative value of Altitude

I've got 3 towers showing on my VRS, how would I get a tower symbol to show instead of the generic aircraft icon?

Their ICAOs are 43BF94 43BF95 43BF96

Re: Icon for Balloons

It would also be nice to add icons for microlight/ultralight aircrafts with the model code of 'ULAC'

Re: MLAT question

The receiver tag is correct, it's showing the name of the receiver whose messages are being used for the aircraft. When MLAT values are passed through for an aircraft they're a special case. Oh, I thought the receiver tag would be the name of the receiver whose positions were being used for the air...

Re: MLAT question

If you tick the FlightAware feed as being an MLAT feed then it will give priority the FlightAware feed for positions and (in the preview version of the server) the heading, but I don't think the speed gets any special treatment. I'll add speed to the list of values that are allowed to pass through....

Re: Reconnect to receivers automatically

Those settings should cause VRS to automatically reconnect if a quarter of an hour goes by without any data on the feed. Are you saying that if you leave it for 15+ minutes it doesn't automatically reconnect? Yes, it happens randomly and can be hard to predict when. I will have to do some more test...
