Re: Different Colour Icons for Military and Civil Aircraft & Flight Level Filtering.

Many thanks for the reply, Andrew - I've now managed to get it working :D Enabling the browser console showed 404 'not found' errors .... I eventually tracked it down to where I'd specified the 'Site root folder' - sorted that and it fixed the problem; so now I'm looking forward to creating a bunch ...

Re: Different Colour Icons for Military and Civil Aircraft & Flight Level Filtering.

I've tried the above, Andrew, but I must be missing something ...... whatever I try, (matching against isMilitary or modelICAO === <xxxx>) as soon as there's a match, all a/c icons disappear from the map!

Re: Running more complicated reports using basestation.sqb

There are plenty of tutorials for SQL query language available online if you google for them - that's the way I've learned to manipulate data in the basestation.sqb .......... for software, I use 'SQLite Expert Personal'

Hi Andrew,

This may already have been requested, but if not, could you add it to the "to do list", please:

Re: Scaling out...

......... can VRS handle multiple feeds coming into the same port? The aim is not to have to configure a seperate "receiver" for each feeder. I would think that could probably achieve this by using sergsero's excellent 'modesmixer2' ( http://xdeco.org/?page_id=48 ) to merge all your feeds into a si...

Re: Bugs in 2.2.0

... when aircraft are first picked up they don't contribute to the plot until they've sent a few position messages, there is a sanity check that needs to see a few consistent positions before it lets it through. It might be that that you're seeing? ... possibly, however if you look at the screen gr...

Re: Bugs in 2.2.0

Another issue that may or may not be a bug, but again not previously noticed .... I moved my antenna higher at the weekend and started a new range plot in VRS to get a comparison, however I've noticed that several a/c on the map are not triggering the radiating lines from my receiver position (recei...

Re: Bugs in 2.2.0

Many thanks for this, Andrew.

I installed the updated preview version last night and since then, the number of a/c on the map has been consistent with the number of visible a/c in the list; so the extended timeout seems to have worked well :D

Thanks again,

Re: Bugs in 2.2.0

Thanks for the explanation, Andrew.

If you can tweak the timeouts so that the the a/c on the map remain in sync with those in the list, without adversely affecting anyone's merged feed MLAT receivers, then it would be appreciated.
