Re: Bugs in 2.2.0

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not ... or even if it's new, although I haven't noticed it until updating to v2.2.0 ..... anyhow, I'm seeing a discrepancy (or lag) between the number of (visible) a/c in the list and the number on the map, i.e. there are often one, two or even three more in the list...

Re: Installation

That's a thought - I've got an old laptop doing nothing that I could install the preview on - and spare dongles that I could use for trying-out the set-up :)

Re: Installation

Ok, thanks. In that case, I think I'll wait for the stable release rather than risk messing up my current reliable set-up.

Installation

Will the preview installer allow it to be installed alongside an existing "production" installation ...... or will it overwrite it?

Re: Merged feeds - display which receiver sees which aircraf

As far as I can tell, VRS lists the first receiver to pick up the a/c and continues to list that receiver until it loses contact - it will then list a different receiver if another one still has contact .... I think ........ but perhaps agw can clarify for us.

Re: Merged feeds - display which receiver sees which aircraf

On the map, go: Menu > Options > List tab > List Settings > select 'Receiver' in the drop-down box and Add ... this will add a receiver column to the list view which will show the name of the receiver that is receiving the a/c The name of the receiver shown will be whatever name you've given it in t...

Re: Merged feeds - display which receiver sees which aircraf

A workaround might be to use multiple browser tabs - have one set up to display your merged feed and one for each receiver - it would require switching between tabs to see which receiver(s) are receiving which a/c - a tad inconvenient, but might provide the info you want.
