If you are able to view the site from your network without any issues but you get an Oops! Something went wrong message instead of a map when you view the site from the Internet then it is probably because you have not registered a Google Maps API key with the program.
You can read up on the issue (and how to solve it) here:

[STICKY] Google Maps shows error message when viewed from Internet
Re: [STICKY] Google Maps shows error message when viewed from Internet
When I enter my correct API KEY, the Virtual Radar Server works fine (even for a whole day) and this until I restart my browser and log in again with "http://127.0.0.1/VirtualRadar/desktop.html", then he gives the message "For development purposes only", strange, why can my API Key only work once a day in the Virtual Radar Server?

Google changed their API usage terms. Now you have to pay in order to use the API. You have to have a billing account in order to use the API.jonckers wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 10:19 amWhen I enter my correct API KEY, the Virtual Radar Server works fine (even for a whole day) and this until I restart my browser and log in again with "http://127.0.0.1/VirtualRadar/desktop.html", then he gives the message "For development purposes only", strange, why can my API Key only work once a day in the Virtual Radar Server?

Re: [STICKY] Google Maps shows error message when viewed from Internet
Hi:
I am also having the same issue even though I provided billing information when I requested the API key. Every time I try to load the VRS webpage I get a Retired Version and a No API keys warning and I get an error saying “You have exceeded your request quota for this APIl. The map load limit on the key is 1000 loads per day. Currently, I can’t get one to load. Thanks
