Are you having trouble getting Virtual Radar Server installed and running? If so then this is the place to ask about it.

Post by borop » Sun Dec 18, 2016 11:45 am

I've been VR ok up to a couple of days when I had problems with WIN10, which has now been resolved but since then I have not been able to load VR, I keep getting a message box come up referring to MSVCR80.dll (I get this for Active Display as well) any body got any ideas how I can resolve this issue.

Thank you

MSVCR80 is Microsoft's C runtime library. VRS doesn't use that directly, it's using .NET. However I imagine .NET probably uses it.

Your .NET install might be broken, I would start by reinstalling / repairing .NET 3.5 and seeing how you go from there. Microsoft's .NET repair tool is here:

Hi, Thanks for a the link, unfortunately it didn't fix the problem. On further investigation it would seem WIN10 has got corrupted. The problem seems to have happened after the last WIN10 update. It looks like the only way around the problem is a complete re-install of WIN10 but that'll have to wait until after Christmas.
