Post by Hardy » Mon Sep 17, 2018 6:27 pm

Hello
I am an absolute beginner reg. RASPI & Linux.
Till now i was running VRS (many years) on a Windows machine.
So i decidet to save some power and try something else.
I installed raspbian-stretch and momo following the instructions.

Now I get following error:

pi@192.168.178.106's password:
Linux raspberrypi 4.14.69-v7+ #1141 SMP Mon Sep 10 15:26:29 BST 2018 armv7l

You really should change your default password :P You might want to edit the message and cut everything up to the mono VirtualRadar.exe command.

If you take a look at "Mono 4 issues" here it explains why the problem occurs and how to correct it:

Hello agw,
thanks for your suggestions.
I have consulted http://www.virtualradarserver.co.uk/Mon ... o-4-issues, but as mentioned earlier (due to be an absolute beginner) have not found a solution.

Here is what i have done:
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ cd VirtualRadar
pi@raspberrypi:~/VirtualRadar $ mono VirtualRadar.exe -nogui -createAdmin:homeser -password:user123

Make sure you you use "mono" not "momo".

If you want to start VRS headless (without a GUI) use this command:

Code: Select all

mono VirtualRadar.exe -nogui
As agw already said just consult this link: http://www.virtualradarserver.co.uk/Mon ... o-4-issues for the SQLite Exception.
You need to download the file and place it in the VRS root folder.
VRS: v3 (30-SEP-2018)

Hello Datamix & agw,
I am ashamed that I missed :
[ERROR] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: InterfaceFactory.ClassFactoryException: SQLiteConnectionStringBuilderWrapper does not implement ISQLiteConnectionStringBuilder
I saw only the beginning of the error message and panicked.
It works now, thanks for the hint.
(momo VirtualRadar.exe was a typo).
Best regards - Hardy
