Sorry for the delay - I've installed XQuartz 2.7.5 and Mono 3.2.7 on my MacBook Pro and I can't reproduce the error, it starts up fine, processes messages, serves the site etc.

Do you get the exception as soon as it starts up or do you have to perform some action within the program before you get it? If so, what do you have to do to reproduce it?

This happens upon startup.

Hello guys, I have a similar issue too.

I'm trying to run virtual radar server on osx 10.11.5. (El Capitan) i have xquartz (VERSION: 2.7.9) and mono (VERSION: 4.4.1.0) installed. I get the following in terminal when trying to run virtual radar server:

Code: Select all

MacBook-Air-toutes-Christos:~ xristos86$ cd ~/Documents/VirtualRadar
MacBook-Air-toutes-Christos:VirtualRadar xristos86$ mono VirtualRadar.exe
WARNING: The runtime version supported by this application is unavailable.
Using default runtime: v4.0.30319
[ERROR] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: InterfaceFactory.ClassFactoryException: SQLiteConnectionStringBuilderWrapper does not implement ISQLiteConnectionStringBuilder

  at VirtualRadar.Program.Main (System.String[] args) <0x6626b0 + 0x001bf> in <filename unknown>:0
I followed the following instructions but without any progress..
Mono 4 Issues
Virtual Radar Server is built against version 3.5 of the .NET framework, which is what ships with Windows 7. Version 4 of Mono does not support .NET 3.5, it will run the program under the .NET 4 framework instead.

This is fine, VRS will run under .NET 4 without a problem. All you'll see is a warning message from the Mono runtime that you can ignore.

However, Mono 4 also ships with version 4 of an assembly called Mono.Data.Sqlite. VRS expects to see version 2 of this assembly. If you get an exception when you start VRS that goes along the lines of "SQLiteConnectionStringBuilderWrapper does not implement ISQLiteConnectionStringBuilder" then it's because VRS cannot load Mono.Data.SQLite.

You can fix this by creating a file called VirtualRadar.exe.config (case sensitive on Linux) in the same folder as VirtualRadar.exe and then pasting this into it:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<configuration>
<configSections>
</configSections>
<startup>
<supportedRuntime version="v2.0.50727"/>
</startup>
<runtime>
<assemblyBinding xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1">
<dependentAssembly>
<assemblyIdentity name="Mono.Data.Sqlite"
publicKeyToken="0738eb9f132ed756"
culture="neutral" />
<bindingRedirect oldVersion="2.0.0.0"
newVersion="4.0.0.0" />
</dependentAssembly>
</assemblyBinding>
</runtime>
</configuration>
Can Someone Help Me Please ?? I Use Mac OS X, El Capitan

Did you create a file called VirtualRadar.exe.config, paste the XML into it and copy it into the same folder as VirtualRadar.exe? Doing so will definitely fix the problem, if you're still getting the message then the most likely reason is that you got the filename wrong.
