Cannot connect to basestation.sqb?

Post by skingjack » Wed Dec 26, 2012 11:03 pm

Newbie here,
I'm encountering this error when I go to start VRS. I've installed/reinstalled the VRS software multiple times.
Could someone point me in the right direction or what I may be overlooking as to how to resolve this issue?

Background:
Macbook Pro running Windows 7 in a Parallels VM

The BaseStation.sqb file is an SQLite database that links the ICAO24 code transmitted by the aircraft to information that isn't transmitted, such as the registration, operator and type. The installer doesn't come with a BaseStation.sqb file, VRS was originally written for SBS users and it expects you to hook it up to your own database, but there are BaseStation.sqb files knocking about that you can download.
