Aircraft Pictures

Are you having trouble getting Virtual Radar Server installed and running? If so then this is the place to ask about it.

I'm using ACARSD (the setup of which is rivalled in complexity only by PlanePlotter) to download images from the Internet. It puts these images into a folder based on the name of the site from which they were downloaded, and subsequently into subfolders based on the first two characters of the aircraft's registration (or the first character if the second one is a hyphen). I had hoped that if I simply point VRS at the parent folder of all of these images (c:\acarsd\images\icons) then it would recursively search the subfolders for the pictures to display in my web browser. Alas, as I feared, it doesn't.

Am I to assume then that all images have to be in a single folder in order for VRS to use them?

Yes, 'fraid so. However it wouldn't be a huge amount of work to make it recursive, I'll add it to the list.
