Unable to access AircraftList.json

I have just installed the 16th Jan 2018 mono preview version. I use a PHP script to log the the tracks of aircraft by downloading the AircraftList.json at regular intervals. I noticed the script had stopped working after the update, then later investigated that it wasn't receiving the JSON file. I then found out that I am unable to access the AircraftList.json directly via a browser, however the desktop and mobile pages seem to be able to receive it without problems.

I get this when I attempt to view the AircraftList.json via a browser:

Code: Select all

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
The requested resource does not support http method 'GET'.
Does anyone have any ideas?

What's the full URL that you're using to fetch the aircraft list?

The script runs on the same server as VRS and it tries to fetch the following URL: http://localhost:8080/VirtualRadar/Airc ... shTrails=1

However if I try to view it in my browser (using the servers IP address) I get the same thing using URLs such as:
http://<SERVER IP>:8080/VirtualRadar/AircraftList.json?trFmt=fa&refreshTrails=1
http://<SERVER IP>:8080/VirtualRadar/AircraftList.json

Ah right - yes, I only implemented the POST version of the call ( ... tList.aspx) when I ported it to the new server. The old GET method had been left in for the old site, which has been retired for version 3.

However, that said, the documentation says that the POST method only came in with 2.2. It feels a bit harsh to get rid of the GET method just yet. I'll look into implementing it but it might not make it into the next preview.
