UpNp not found - may not be a bug?

Post by DRL » Fri Aug 22, 2014 7:03 pm

I installed a second router as a cable extender to my main router. My VRS "server" runs off this pass through router port. After starting VRS is did not detect UpNp router.

When I connect direct to the main router it does. I found if I start VRS on the main router then switch cables it seems to have no issues with UpNp when i do that. Is it possible VRS only queries the pass through router and is blind to the primary router at startup?

Are the two routers on the same subnet or are they on different subnets and one of the routers is acting as a bridge to the other? I think VRS would only see UPnP devices that are on the same subnet as the machine that VRS is running on.
