It would be better to get to the root of the out-of-memory exception, although if you have 100-200 feeds then that's going to cause issues. I'm surprised it's running at all :)

I'll add the switch to shut VRS down when an out-of-memory exception is encountered.

I sort of am surprised too! ;)

What would you say a "reasonable" number of feeds are that "should work"?

We have just above 400 feeds from around the world - some compressed VRS and some "beast" format.

Is there any debugging info you need to get to the root cause? Honestly, if it can quit automatically, that should get me by for a while....

No idea. Keep adding feeds until it becomes unusable, then subtract one :)

VRS is a 32-bit program so it's limited to 2GB of RAM. Just in case it's simply a matter of all of those feeds using up 2GB I've added a 64-bit build of VRS, which should now be up on the preview page. If you're using any of the plugins then you'll need to download the latest installers for those - there are no dedicated 64-bit installers for the plugins, the same installer will work for both 32-bit and 64-bit, but you'll need to be mindful when you're installing plugins for the 64-bit version that you're installing them into the correct folder (64-bit VRS defaults to C:\Program Files\VirtualRadar whereas the plugin installers default to C:\Program Files (x86)\VirtualRadar).
