Range Plots -- "age out" old range data?

The "to-do" list for Virtual Radar Server is as long as my arm, but if you want to pile more work onto it then this is for you.

Range Plots -- "age out" old range data?

Post by TanerH » Thu Sep 13, 2018 5:07 am

I have no idea how you're storing the range plot data, so this may not be feasible, but if there were a way to have it automatically make the range plots based on a "rolling window" of N days (3? 7? 14?), that would be a nice feature :)

I suppose this would entail storing considerably more data points (can't save just the edge), as well as additional data per point (now needing a timestamp).

So I'd understand if the answer is "not feasible" -- but I thought I'd ask!

The range plot data is stored in JSON files under the configuration folder. You could just delete the plots if you want to reset.

It seems a bit esoteric but I don't think that it would be too hard to do. I'll add it to the list.
