Aircraft Pictures

The "to-do" list for Virtual Radar Server is as long as my arm, but if you want to pile more work onto it then this is for you.

Something along these lines *might* be happening in version 2 of VRS but it depends on other people so I don't want to go into any detail, or promise anything, just yet.

Still some way off :) I'm hoping it'll be done around the end of September but it'll depend on how much free time I get.

I love that pictures can now be displayed on the web site, but I wonder why VRS doesn't support GIF files? I uses acarsd to automagically download plane images from the web, but it downloads only GIF files. VRS supports only JPG, JPEG, PNG and BMP.

VRS only supports JPEG and PNG photographs - the BMP stuff is just for logos and silhouettes, and that's because the freebie ones that are knocking around are all BMP.

I'll add GIF support to the list.

Ah. Thanks, Andrew. Appreciated. You know, considering this is freeware, and it's just you programming it, the feature set is phenomenal. Keep up the good work!
