Is there a way to add a weather layer to the map? I hear it's on 978MHz FIS-B and youtube has a guy that built one with a rasberry pi. Software from here https://github.com/cyoung/stratux/releases

Can this become a plugin for VRS?

ProHill (on the forum) and a couple of other people have added weather layers to VRS, I think they're based on overlays from weather sites. The intention is to write a plugin that does the same, I just need to get around to it :)

It's on the list! :) All my spare time is being spent on getting ready for the upcoming release though, I'll get it done after that.

The only problem is, the plugin from ProHill is a direct challenge to google api, and implemented a google api key in VRS is not work.
