Database writer probs

none at all i thought you could use this without a radarbox,sbs box etc apologise if i misread the usage

Ah right, that does explain one or two things :) No worries - but yes, it does need a radio receiver capable of picking up transmissions from an aircraft before it'll show anything interesting. Although if you only want to use it to show the location of the simulated aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator X then you don't need to buy a radio for that, you just need to have FSX installed.

There are plenty of receivers to pick from, but if you don't want to go to the expense of buying one then there are sites online that show pretty much the same thing that VRS shows. The two that I know of are:

im not using a reciever i thought non radio users could take advantage of this
