Loss of On-screen Menu?

Post by Rick » Tue May 10, 2016 5:58 pm

I am having a minor issue with Virtual Radar (Version 2.3.1.24483) running under Linux. My OS is Linux Mint Debian Cinnamon 32-bit.

I have been running VRS for quite a while and today I noticed a problem. The map, aircraft and tabular data are ALL correct. On-screen there are 2 icons, Map etc and Menu. The Map etc icon opens and provides access to the various map configurations.

The Menu icon (with the settings icon) does not open? In the past few weeks I have used this icon without difficulty. Often switching distance scales from km to nautical miles etc.

In an effort to re-establish contact with the Menu icon, I have shutdown, rebooted the programme and the computer without success. I have loaded the latest VRS (May 02, 2016) but I remain unable to access the Menu icon?

It's likely I have unknowingly changed something. Thoughts appreciated.

Thanks,
Rick

Andrew just got back to me.

Apparently this is a Firefox problem. He's working on a fix and it should be on the Preview site soon (after May 10, 2016).

Thanks to Andrew for the quick reply and update.
