Hi,

1) First, make VRS work, from ssh or with a attached screen, as you want

2) Prepare a script, for example vrs.sh :

Code: Select all

sudo nano ~/vrs.sh

Code: Select all

#!/bin/sh
mono /home/yourloginname/VirtualRadar/VirtualRadar.exe -nogui
3) Make it "runable"

Code: Select all

chmod +x vrs.sh
4) Make it start automatically when you log-in.
In french, it's in "Système / préférences / personnel / applications au démarrage (applications at startup)"
Add an entry called VRS, select the vrs.sh previously done.

Now, every time you log-in, VRS starts automatically.

Time to auto-log.

5) In "système / administration / utilisateurs & groupes (users and groups)"

Select yourself.
Mot de passe (password) ... modifier (modify)

Select "ne pas demander de mot de passe (do not ask for a password)"

Validate, close.

6) Create a file in /usr/share/lightdm/lightdm.conf.d named 60-lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf

Code: Select all

sudo nano /usr/share/lightdm/lightdm.conf.d/60-lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf
Put inside :

Code: Select all

[Seat:*]
greeter-session=lightdm-gtk-greeter
autologin-user=yourloginname
Reboot.
The PI will :
- Login automatically
- Do not ask for a password
- launch VRS

Cool, no ?
