Hey,

after struggling with getting into the options of VRS and finally getting the solution from flieger28 (updating mono) i now seem to have problems accessing the webserver via LAN. It is accessible from inside VRS on the RPi (both, local and LAN address) but not from my Windows machine on the LAN.

http://192.168.1.130:8080/virtualradar/desktop.html -> Bad Request (Invalid Host)
http://192.168.1.130/virtualradar/desktop.html -> connection timed out

I can ping the RPi from my Windows machine without problems!

Before the Rpi i was using a Windows Tablet with VRS and with that i could easily connect to the webserver via LAN using "http://192.168.1.130/virtualradar/desktop.html" without the 8080. But now with the Rpi nothing seems to work. I believe this is not a problem with VRS but the RPi itself, but perhaps someone can tell me what i have to do to get it working since my RPi Knowledge is very limited.

Best Regards,
Dennis

Surprisingly it "works" when i install VRS here on the Windows machine too. On the Pi i set up a "passthrough" rebroadcast server and with VRS here on the Windows machine i can connect to it.

Seems like Port 8080 is blocked on the Pi?!

The message "Bad Request (Invalid Host)" is generated by Virtual Radar, so you could connect to it. Try

http://192.168.1.130:8080/VirtualRadar/desktop.html (uppercase V and R)

and it should work. I had the same problem when I used http://.../VirtualRadar/WebAdmin/index.html instead of http://.../VirtualRadar/WebAdmin/Index.html

I guess the filesystem on Windows is case-insensitive, so it doesn't matter there.
