VRS running on Rpi2

Post by vicbeo » Mon May 11, 2015 4:59 pm

Since I bought my rpi, I was researching about this hobby (for me... )

But minutes ago I got running VRS with raspberry Pi (also i'm sharing traffic information with Flightaware and FR24... working perfectly). I had some problems run VRS entering to Options... Every time that i push option, the VRS go to shutdown. For solving this problem i configured directly on "InstallerConfiguration.xml" and "Configuration.xml".

Here you can find some pictures.

That's fantastic, and exactly what I would greatly prefer to do vs. try this Frankenstein install on my Mac.

I've read through the install posts on here, but hadn't found what appeared to be a truly successful install on a RPi2.

Any "gotchas" or things to consider if I give this a shot? I'm a little skittish about screwing up my Flightaware feed on the RPi as I've already done it once, trying to add FR24 as a feed, too.

Many thanks,
Shadow

Hi;

I have an issue with my rpi 2 ... the program loads, but not web show, blank page.

I have the VRS working on a Linux PC amd K7 with Debian 8.2, and also works on my NAS Synology with mono interpreter installed.

I configured vrs on my PC and use the same config files on the NAS and on the rpi 2 executing with the option -nogui on the shell ... on the rpi 2 and also on the NAS no X installed.

any ideas ?

Greets !

What port number do you have in your InstallerConfiguration.xml file on the Linux machine? If it's 80 then some distributions won't let a user account listen to port 80, try changing it to 8080 instead and restarting VRS.
