How do I obtain updated route info

How do we obtain updated route info? I've been away from the forums for a while so I apologize if I missed it. I have 2.4.0, in Options | General I have Download flight route updates checked but quite often I see obviously incorrect routes displayed. I see a link to download standing data but what do we do with that?

If the routes are wrong then you can submit corrections via the site, just click the "Submit route correction" link in the aircraft detail panel. It'll send you off to the standing data maintenance web site where you can enter route, airport and airline corrections.

So they should be accurate or updated automatically with no user intervention then correct?

Yes, if you have the "Download flight route updates" option ticked on this screen (which is the default setting):

then you'll get route updates once a day.
