Andrew
I logged an Air Serbia flight today (YU-APF). This was using the callsign "ASL381". VRS didn't show a route for this flight.
I looked up the aircraft and flight on FlightRadar and Planefinder and found the route is LHR to BEG (Heathrow to Belgrade - flight number JU381).
I tried to add the route via sdm but it was disallowed because the ICAO "ASL" is listed as "Spurling Aviation"; which I think is now an historic code. The Wikipedia page for Air Serbia lists it's ICAO as "ASL" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_Serbia) - I guess it has changed from JAT
Here's a link to the Planefinder page listing for JU381/ASL381 (https://planefinder.net/data/flight/JU381)
Can you update sdm / add this route please.
Thanks
Charlie
PS Just found this blog posting / discussion on the subject - http://exyuaviation.blogspot.co.uk/p/ai ... -code.html
Change of callsign for Air Serbia?
Re: Change of callsign for Air Serbia?
Sorry for the delay, I completely managed to miss your posting! I've now changed Air Serbia so that the ICAO code is ASL and renamed all of its existing routes to ASLnnn instead of JATnnn. I've deactivated the Spurling Aviation airline so any ASL routes that had been entered for that will no longer show up after midnight today, UK time.
