Chevron on plane information pane

Post by darrylcn » Wed Mar 06, 2019 7:03 pm

Been meaning to ask this since I got VRS working a couple years ago but it’s been slipping my mind - does anyone know what the small black chevron/bracket that’s displayed on the top part of the plane information pane means? I’d think it was heading however two planes with similar headings can have opposite facing pointers. Can’t figure out what it means, does anyone know? Thanks!

The screen shot on this thread shows it, it’s to the left of the EasyJet logo in the top right:

It's the compass heading from your location to where the aircraft is, assuming that the browser location is also your location.
