Merged Feed less than individual ones

Post by EDDT38 » Mon Dec 14, 2020 3:13 pm

Hi,

I notice that merged streams of my ADSB- and MLAT-feed are smaller than the individual ones.
They should add up.
An idea?
VRS 2.4 is running.

Hi Pakon,

these are the two "normal" streams for ADSB and MLAT.
"AVR or Beast Raw Feed" and "Basestation".

It was running a long time normal.

Hey,

is it possible, that the streams are providing the same (aircraft) data?

For Example, I've got 4 Receivers. Two of them are located at the same location, but the antennas are different.

So if you look at the streams, you will see, that in a lot of cases the same aircraft data is transmitted to VRS.
VRS aggregates the data so I think its the reason why the aggregated stream is smaller than the 2 indivuals.

PS: if you want, we can share our feeds. (EDDB/ETSH/[EDDS])

Cheers,
Pakon
