VRS World

Post by jonfear » Mon Sep 08, 2014 7:19 pm

Hi Everyone

Just a few lines to say we have added a few more feeds recently, my specific thanks to Nic and Tony for some great in-fills using the Chinese antenna Nic sourced. Check the coverage for VRS Shrewsbury, EGNX-jQ, VRS Durham and of course VRS-Wick St Lawrence. I hope to finish putting together a review of the antenna soon.

There maybe another order run being put together soon, please PM me and I will get you added to the list. Money up front I'm afraid!

I would also like to welcome Trevor from Canberra, Australia on board, our first Australian feed. He has some great coverage there, nice to see Australia represented finally.

The usual reminder to all feeders, please check your system is feeding correctly! Any problems just drop me a line and we will try to fix the issue.

If anyone else fancies adding a feed, whether your area is covered or not, just drop me a PM and we will get things going. All accepted, none refused.

Best wishes

Jon

Hi Mike,
prices will be announced when I place a new order as they will change with exchange rate.

there is a pic of the Antenna at the bottom of the page of my website below, also a few range plots comparing the Chinese Antenna and my old Kinetic one which it has now replaced.

Looks like we're getting quite good coverage in South-east Australia these days :)

Agreed, three feeds from Australia and one from New Zealand. Beginning to look very healthy down there.

As always though, the more the merrier! If anyone spots a hole they can fill drop me a pm or email me at: info(at)vrs-europe.eu removing the obvious (at) with @.

Many thanks to all those contributing already, as everyone can see, it is a very busy world out there.

Best wishes

Folks

You may have noticed VRS World is off air. It is not, I have just changed the web port for access. it now uses the normal port 80 so if you have saved the direct link, just remove the ":8989 and hey presto, it will be back.

Port 8989 was blocked by so many organisations (including my own) that I felt I needed to do this update.

A big welcome to all the recent feeders, Europe and Australia are looking even busier! Welcome to the VRS World family.

We still need representation in France, Spain and Italy, can you help us? I may be able to help make it easy for you.

Best wishes

Hi folks,

just a quick note to thank the owners of the new feeds from Spain and the countries from the former Yugoslavia.

Their contributions have really opened up the European coverage and filled some more holes. Outstanding, I have personally spent a lot of my spare time watching both feeds for many hours.

As always new feeds are more than welcome and it is easier than you think to share your data with VRS World.

Just drop me a line if you are interested.

It is worth noting that we now have 42 feeds from around the world.

Best wishes
