The Twittermail option is already available and works quite well.
Maybe you could save time and have a Twitter compatible message format instead

Ok TwitterMail sounds like a good alternative, what would be the ideal message format for that? I'm guessing it will have to be single line text, less than 140 chars.

Yes, I've added a bit.ly link to the radar in the condition name. It tweets the Registration followed by the condition name.

I'll work on adding an email config specifically to show shortened condition details for tweets.

New update, this one should fix the crashing when the settings file format changes (It will recreate the settings file with default values if it has an error). I have also added a new email content config for tweets that should compact most of the important information in 140 characters. The new update and all future updates are available on PlaneAlerter's GitHub page here: https://github.com/Dom2364/PlaneAlerter/releases.

Hi Dom,

LOVE this program. Amazing work thank you! Quick question if I may, I have several people in my email list for one of my alerts. I've noticed we all get one of two versions of a plane map - some emails have a zoomed out map and others receive a very zoomed in map which doesn't give much info as far as where the plane is. Is the map zoom a setting I'm missing? I'll attach two examples here, both are of the same general region but one is zoomed way in.

I can't get PlaneAlerter to run without crashing. As soon as it has a condition met it crashes. What do I need to do to troubleshoot this?

Hi!

First, thanks for making this!

Second, how do I know why an email will not send? The laert.log is empty and no errors show that it attempted to email even though the json file has plenty of planes meeting the condition.

Thank you

I figured it out. The issue was selecting the proper feed to have enough for the conditions to mull on. Once that was true, I was able to trouble shoot the email portion.
